Mother Complex and Failed Individuation in Sons and Lovers (1913) by D. H. Lawrence

Lecturer: Dr Teodora Domotor

Teodora Domotor received her PhD in American Literature from the University of Surrey. She also completed further studies in psychology and bibliotherapy (University of Reading, University of Warwick). She is committed to interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and research: gender studies, psychoanalysis, social history and literary theory form the basis of her arguments. Her primary research goals are directed towards the study of modernism and 20th century transnational American literature with a strong emphasis on the narrative representation of national and gender identity. Her articles and book reviews have appeared (or are forthcoming) in American and European peer-reviewed journals.

Messy Church

Program for kids!

MESSY CHURCH is a new and regular program for kids in St Albans. 

Art, craft, games, songs, story telling and lots of FUN, even food served. 

The first day is on 30th September at 4pm, then last Saturday every month. 

The event is FREE.
